Austin Reading Club

Welcome to Austin Reading Club! This is not a book club in the traditional sense. You'll bring a book of your choice. Other readers will do the same. And we'll read together, separately. Our itinerary: 6:00pm Hellos to our fellow readers 6:15pm Sink into your book for reading time 7:15pm Touch base with society again FAQs: Are we really just reading in the same room silently together? Yes. And we get to socialize at the top and bottom of that reading time. Can I read something other than a book? Sure. You're an adult (must be over age 21 for this venue). Take care of your intellectual needs as you see fit. Will you have books to borrow? Some readers may have a spare to share, but your best bet is to bring something from your TBR list. Do audiobooks count? If you can listen without distracting your physical-book-peers, you do you.
