Join Nada Zohdy (Global Network Lead, Obama Foundation) and Juliann Krupa (2025 Obama Foundation Scholar) for a hosted exploration of the newly opened Obama Presidential Center campus. Please note: This event does not include admission to the Obama Presidential Center Museum. While museum tickets are currently in exceptionally high demand (and we'll share the latest on upcoming ticket releases!), the museum is just one part of the experience. The surrounding 19.3-acre campus is free and open to the public, with public art, gardens, gathering spaces, and other highlights to explore. Located in Jackson Park near where President Obama began his career and where Michelle Obama was born and raised, the Obama Presidential Center was designed to serve as a beacon of hope and inspire visitors to bring change home. The visit will begin with a welcome highlighting the Foundation's leadership programming and the climate- and sustainability-related design elements of the campus, followed by a guided exploration of the grounds. Participants will experience public art installations, gardens, gathering spaces, the Chicago Public Library branch, Home Court, the Forum, and other campus highlights while discussing how the Center integrates environmental stewardship with civic leadership and community investment. Afterward, continue exploring the campus at your own pace with self-guided audio tours, including a campus tour narrated by Oprah Winfrey or an art tour narrated by Michelle Obama. Whether you're visiting the campus for the first time or looking to experience it through the lens of climate and community, we hope you'll join us for an engaging conversation and walk through one of Chicago's newest civic spaces. Please note: This event does not include admission to the Obama Presidential Center Museum. Museum tickets are currently in exceptionally high demand and are separate from this event.
