"Update: this event has been postponed from 7 July to October 2026. The exact date will be confirmed shortly. Existing registrations carry over." Data at Scale is a one-day, single-track conference in Amsterdam on best practices in large-scale data processing. One day, in person, no product pitches; real engineering on real data. Bring together database, backend, and systems engineers who actually run big workloads to share what works, what breaks at scale, and what they've learned. Who this is for Database, backend, and systems engineers running production data systems Engineers and researchers working with billions of rows or terabytes-plus Technology enthusiasts who want a serious-but-friendly day on data systems at scale What to expect One 45-minute opening keynote by Alexey Milovidov, original author of ClickHouse Standard talks (around 25 minutes + Q&A) on real-world large-data work Lightning talks (5–10 minutes) with sharp takes and fast demos Modest exhibition and demo area for hands-on time with tools and teams Evening reception in The Courtyard (weather permitting), running until 19:00 The schedule is intentionally single-track so everyone sees every talk. Speakers Talks are selected from an open CFP, with the keynote by Alexey Milovidov. The full lineup will be announced in late June. https://sessionize.com/data-at-scale-amsterdam/ Submit a talk The CFP is open until 20 June 2026. We're looking for talks based on real-world analysis of large datasets, where the engineer who did the work shares what they measured, what broke, what they fixed, what they learned. Vendors and competitors welcome on the same terms as everyone else. Submit on Sessionize: https://sessionize.com/data-at-scale-amsterdam/ Venue Lief Amsterdam is in central Amsterdam, with a single main hall for the program, indoor lounges for networking, and an outdoor courtyard for the evening reception. Practical notes In-person only. No virtual stream. All talks recorded and published on YouTube after the event. Speakers cover their own travel and accommodation. Selected-speaker tickets are comped. Code of conduct: (TBD; link will be added before doors open.) Host Data at Scale is hosted and organized by ClickHouse. It is a community conference for the broader data engineering audience and is not a ClickHouse product event. Talks from other vendors are welcome on the same terms.
