We're finally back in Saftladen Indie Games Collective (Lichtenberg) https://saftladen.berlin The event is free but as we have limited spaces, please only RSVP if you intend to come. And if you need to cancel, even on the day of the event, please let us know so we can offer your space to someone else. 👽 Gæmz? New to Gæmz? It’s a hangout/social gathering event and a community for the people who are into art/experimental/alternative game development, playful media, and general d0peshit founded in 2019 by Nomi (thenomi.com). Since 2024, the in-person community space expanded and now we have regular meet-ups in Tokyo, London, Taipei, and Copenhagen. Nomi had hosted pop-up Gæmz in Berlin a couple of times in the past but this is the first time we're doing this with an intention to make it a regular event. The event runs for roughly 3 hours, the first hour of which is usually spent on ice breaker sesh/waiting for people, followed by presentations (up to 5 minutes + Q&A) by each of the attendees. Presentations aren't mandatory, you can come along just to be interested/supportive/inspired, but we want everyone who does want to present to have an opportunity to do so, so presentations should be short. (5 mins presentations + 5 mins Q&A). We'd also like to know a bit about everyone.
