Living Room Biennale started as an experiment, one that would help me put myself out there as an artist. A couple of months back, over two wonderful weekends, I hosted curious souls and walked them through all that I've created in the last 10 years. Sketchbooks filled with mixed media art - gouache, watercolour, acrylics. Trials in printmaking and photography projects I've undertaken. I've enjoyed the process of making and learning all these art forms. Being able to share that with friends & strangers was incredibly fulfilling. Since then I've been shooting a lot more on film & digital, in addition to trying more techniques in print like cyanotype. I'm excited to announce an exclusive print and printmaking edition with Volume 3 of Living Room Biennale. We're open July 18 & 19, 11am–7pm. There'll be good music, something to snack on, good people and of course a lot of print. You'll hopefully walk away inspired and maybe a print or two for your home. Bring a friend or 4 and I can't wait to see you! About me: Hi, I'm Divya Galagali. I am a photographer and artist. Find me @geeedivya on Instagram, where I'm experimenting with various forms of art and print.
