Led by guitarist and vocalist Tim Robertson (also known as The Sarge), the band takes the complex, ambitious ideas of avant-garde jazz, combines them with the energy of rock and roll, and fits them into tight pop songs. What sets SGT DORK apart is their unique form of social commentary. Robertsons lyrics are observational rather than introspective, focusing on the quirks of daily life in New Orleans. The songs are often humorous, covering everything from the absurdity of an oddly motivated eye transplant to the complexities of unrequited love, but they always maintain a deeper meaning.Da Screech - Da Screech is a hard-hitting three-piece rock band out of New Orleans, formed in 2020. Made up of Lightning (vocals/bass), Madman (lead guitar), and Nate (drums), the trio blends old-school and modern rock/metal influences into a high-energy, all-original sound - with the occasional cover thrown in for good measure. Their recorded output includes the 2022 album Six Pack, featuring tracks like Rougarou, Loaded 45, My Reality, and Memories.
