“PAID IN SWING - A time travel to the 1930s.” Escape the digital grid and step into a living, breathing time capsule inside the historic walls of CHAUSSEE 36! Inspired by the bold spirit of the Harlem Renaissance, we have recreated the energy of the legendary 30s „house rent parties“. This multidisciplinary exhibition explores the tension between past and present through a deliberate clash of analog and digital mediums. Fueled by a live swing performance, visual art meets sonic history to pull you straight back into the golden age of swing.
