Scrape. Build. Destroy - Bring a Laptop, Not a Robot. BattleBots Hack Night

Grand Prize: Return tickets + hotel to Las Vegas to watch Battle Bots (VIP Tickets) Robots fight. You build. The data decides. 🤖 This is a data hack, not a hardware one. No soldering, no shrapnel. BattleBots Pro League powered by Bright Data has 24 robots and a season of fight records, robot stats and fan chatter scattered across the web. Your job tonight is to grab that data with Bright Data's tools and build something cool with it. The Vegas bit. Everything built tonight can be entered into Bright Data's global #battlebotsdev hackathon. The grand prize there is a VIP BattleBots weekend in Las Vegas. Return flights and a 2-night hotel for you plus a guest, VIP arena passes, behind-the-scenes pit access, and a Bright Data swag kit. The global deadline is 31 July, three days after this event, so tonight is build it here, submit it this week. To be clear, the Vegas prize is won through the global hack, not handed out on the night. On the night: $100 in Bright Data credits for every attendee (claim link at the event), snacks and drinks, a watch party of a BattleBots Pro League episode mid-evening, and a room full of builders. Ideas to steal: a robot win-rate tracker, a fan sentiment dashboard, a head-to-head prediction engine, a meta analysis of which weapons dominate the season, an agent-vs-agent battle fed by real fight data. Or anything weird, fun and demoable by 9pm. The evening: doors and kickoff at 16:00 (theme and constraints), open build time solo or in small teams, watch party break, lightweight demos around 20:00, done by 21:00. Who this is for. Everyone from vibe coders to senior engineers. If you can prompt an AI or write a for loop, you can build something tonight. Founders, designers, students and builders all welcome. The global hack judges on substance over polish, they're engineers, nobody cares about your pitch deck. About Bright Data. The web data infrastructure company trusted by 20,000+ organizations, with 600+ scraper APIs, a dataset marketplace and AI-agent tools including an MCP server with a free tier. Headline sponsor of the new BattleBots Pro League. Free to attend, spaces limited.
