Latino Founders, Startup425, Latinas in Tech, ALPFA Seattle, and SOMOS.tech are co-hosting an event for Latinos in tech to connect and build community. Join us at Bellevue City Hall on Thursday, July 30 for a panel and a networking happy hour. The panel: The Latino Role in Tech A conversation with Latino entrepreneurs, investors, and tech leaders about their work, what they have learned building in tech, and what is ahead for Latino founders. There will be time for questions from the audience. The panel starts at 5:00 PM. Networking happy hour After the panel, stay for a happy hour from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Meet founders, investors, and others working in tech across the region. Who should come Latino founders, investors, people who work in tech, and anyone who wants to connect and learn with the Latino tech community Hosts and partners Latino Founders is a nonprofit that helps Latino entrepreneurs scale their businesses through programs like Pitch Latino and its accelerator, providing access to capital and mentorship. Startup425 is a collaborative economic initiative designed to help small business owners and early-stage tech founders launch and scale their ventures. Supported by a partnership of six Eastside cities, including Bellevue, Redmond, Renton, Kirkland, Issaquah, and Bothell, it focuses heavily on reducing barriers for entrepreneurs. Startup425 hosts several monthly events including coworking days, workshops, and panels, and also has an equity-free 14-week accelerator program. Startup425 brings world-class business training, mentor networks, and municipal support directly to the greater Eastside area's local communities. Latinas in Tech is a nonprofit connecting, supporting, and empowering Latina women in technology. ALPFA Seattle is the Seattle chapter of ALPFA, the Association of Latino Professionals For America. SOMOS.tech is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit for Hispanic and Latinx tech professionals and allies, offering networking, mentorship, and career resources, with events including mixers, panels, and workshops in cities such as Seattle.
